What is the difference between a Mini Session and a Full Session?
This is something I think a lot of people get confused with because I often hear Full Sessions be called Mini Sessions. I am going to explain the differences and hope that helps to make more sense to you.
Is your little ones about to be welcomed into this world and you are looking at capturing their beautiful newness? Is your darling baby’s first birthday coming up and you want to capture it? You have selected their outfit, decided on a color theme and even ordered their cake for a cake smash?
Or how about getting the family together for a photoshoot that works for your work and school schedule?
These would be Full Sessions. A Full Session gives you as the client creative freedom to have choices on themes, color choices, locations, dates, and times. They are also longer sessions allowing for more options and of course, more photos can be taken.
Did we just open time slots for the cutest little Valentine’s themed photo session on a specific day? These would be Mini Sessions, or they might even be called Limited Edition Sessions since they are not always offered and have a limited number of photographer selected dates through the year and limited time slots available. These sessions are not as long because they are usually only offered to a few children per time slot (unless specifically stated when released) so extra time is not necessary. The theme, location, date, and time blocks are preselected by the photographer with no room for flexibility because sessions are usually scheduled back to back.
Now that you know what kind of session you would like to book, let’s get you on
